By accessing or using SNSBooks ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service. SNSBooks is operated by SNSBooks (Pty) Ltd, a company registered in South Africa.
SNSBooks is a cloud-based accounting and payroll platform designed for South African small businesses. The Service includes invoicing, expense management, bank reconciliation, payroll processing, and financial reporting features.
You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorised access to your account. Each business requires a separate subscription.
SNSBooks offers paid subscription plans billed monthly in South African Rand (ZAR). Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled before the renewal date. Refunds are not provided for partial months. We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice.
New accounts receive a free trial period as indicated at sign-up. No credit card is required during the trial. At the end of the trial, the account will be restricted until a subscription is activated. We reserve the right to modify or discontinue free trial offerings.
You agree not to use the Service to:
Your business data remains your property. We process your data solely to provide the Service. We implement industry-standard security measures including encryption at rest and in transit. We will not sell your data to third parties. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
SNSBooks provides tools to assist with financial management and payroll calculations. The Service is not a substitute for professional accounting, tax, or legal advice. You remain responsible for ensuring your business complies with SARS requirements, VAT regulations, the Basic Conditions of Employment Act, and all other applicable South African legislation. Tax year configurations and statutory rates are updated by SNSBooks on a best-effort basis and should be independently verified.
We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. Scheduled maintenance will be communicated in advance where possible. We are not liable for losses resulting from service downtime.
To the maximum extent permitted by South African law, SNSBooks (Pty) Ltd shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the three months preceding the claim.
You may cancel your subscription at any time from the subscription settings page. We may suspend or terminate your account for breach of these Terms with reasonable notice, or immediately for serious violations. Upon termination, you may request an export of your data within 30 days.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be notified by email at least 14 days before taking effect. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Any disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the South African courts.
